Fred Beuchert,
Owner
Fred Beuchert is the president of Mt. Airy Auto Repair, and he's been in
the auto repair business longer than anyone else in Mt. Airy, having opened
his first business in 1973. Mr. Beuchert drove and built road racing cars, both as an amateur and a professional, for over twenty years. Mr. Beuchert is an ASE certified automobile technician
in engine repair, automatic transmission/ transaxles, manual drive train and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical and electronic systems, heating and air conditioning, and also engine performance.
Mr. Beuchert has furthered
his vast knowledge of automobiles by becoming certified through AEM, Unichip,
SCT, and he is an EMIC certified tuner. Mr. Beuchert has extended his knowledge of
high performance engine building by attending the Rehr Morrison Race Engine
School.
